Rewebution name is an abbreviation from "Rental system web solution". The system was investigated and developed during 3rd semester in Roskilde HandelSkole ( RHS ).
A rewebution system supposed to be an on-line renting service. During the course some documents were developed, which I believe might be interesting to read and send me feedback so I could improve them and correct mistakes.
As part of 3rd semester was a couse E-commerce. In the end everybody had to choose a question
and write a synopsis and present it oraly in examination.
My question was :
"how can the e-business analysis be blended with RUP and how does it help to achieve business goals".
Sounds cool, though the main idea is that RUP does not try to solve a problem by any other means except
building an IT system. RUP (or UP) is a softare development methodology aimed to deliver an IT solution,
and it does discuss other ways to achieve business' goals.
I state that by adding e-business analysis to RUP it might help company to develope a good long term IT-strategy
and achieve business' goals by implementing IT systems.
The synopsis does not cover cases where business analysis is carried externally or for a company, which does
not benefit from having IT strategy or IT system.
Yes, it means that the scope is narrow and the article
is good only for studying since it explains the e-business analysis steps

In the Rewebution project one section was dedicated analysing the possible use
of XP and UP methodologies in the project.
In my opinion, it is quite feasible for a case like Rewebution system and it is clearly
shown in the presentation.
