General admission procedure
- Applications may be submitted by students who have completed a basic education program (Grade 10) in Lithuania or abroad.
- Applications are submitted electronically via the e-system on the Vilnius City Municipality website https://svietimas.vilnius.lt/ from March 1 to March 31.
- Requests for entrance examination accommodations due to individual needs, along with relevant documentation from a healthcare provider or the Pedagogical-Psychological Service, should be submitted to the Lyceum's Admissions Board at admission@licejus.lt. For further details, refer to the Access and Inclusion Policy
- For information on applications for transfer students, refer to the „Access and Admission Policy“, under the section „Admission procedures for transfer students studying abroad“
- In April, two entrance exams are held: Mathematics and English.
- For students studying abroad, there is an option to take the exams in late August
- Students who have completed the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), passed the IB MYP exams, and received the IB MYP Certificate are exempt from entrance exams. For more details, refer to nuoroda the „Access and Admission Policy“, under the section „Admission procedures for students with the IB MYP Certificate.“
Entrance Examination Syllabuses
Results are announced on the Lyceum website https://licejus.lt in May, or in August for those who took the exams in August.
- Parents must confirm their child’s admission offer to the Lyceum via the Vilnius City Municipality e-system by the specified date.
- The enrollment contract must be signed with the school within 30 days from the confirmation of the admission offer.
In June, an orientation meeting is held for enrolled students and their parents.
In June, admitted students are required to submit:
- Basic School-Leaving Certificate (Grade 10) and a copy of an identity document (for those who completed basic education abroad) via email to sekretore@licejus.lt.
- An application form for IB DP course selection via email to admission@licejus.lt.

In February, detailed information on the admission and entrance examination procedures for the IB class at Vilnius Lyceum is announced on the school’s website.
In March, an Open Day is held at Vilnius Lyceum for prospective students interested in learning more about the IB Diploma Programme.
