1. Only Grade 10 students whose place of residence is officially declared in the city of Vilnius by the end of the application period, i.e. 8 March 2026, are eligible to take the entrance examinations for the International Baccalaureate (IB) class.
2. Applications for admission to the International Baccalaureate class must be submitted online via the Vilnius City Municipality e-system at www.vilnius.lt/svietimas from 1 February to 8 March 2026.
3. Students who have completed the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), passed the IB MYP on-screen examinations, and received the IB MYP Certificate are admitted to the International Baccalaureate class without entrance examinations.
4. Applicants must take two entrance exams: English language (40 points) and Mathematics (40 points). Each examination is 1 hour.
5. After the examinations, the Admissions Board will determine the minimum passing score for each examination. Only students who meet or exceed the minimum required score in each examination will be eligible for the admission process.
6. The entrance examination syllabi are available on the school website at www.licejus.lt/syllabuses.
7. The entrance examinations will take place on 28 March at 9:00 a.m. Information regarding the examination venue and further details will be published on 24 March on the school website at www.licejus.lt.
8. The results of the entrance examinations will be published on 17 April on the school website at www.licejus.lt.
9. Parents / guardians of students admitted to the International Baccalaureate class must confirm the invitation to study at Vilnius Lyceum via the Municipality electronic system by 2 May.
10. For students currently studying in schools abroad, entrance examinations can be organized on 24 August. To sit examinations in August, students must inform the Admissions Board by 8 March via email at admission@licejus.lt.
11. The Open Day will take place on 12 February at 5:00 p.m at Vilnius Lyceum. The event will be held in Lithuanian language. Applicants who require additional information in English may contact the IB Coordinator to arrange an individual meeting.
Entrance Examinations: Syllabuses
